Individual,Azamat's idea to pass after 4HE was not to push them too high, and he expect 5+ clubs from Borat-they are regular partners) but now he is on lead

The fortune meets Borat and Azamat on NS, and the bear and Pamela Anderson on WE position. Azamat knows Borat's intention to impress Pamela(E), and maybe he is on the right way-she didn't redouble. But the lead ???

How can I lead, I don't have a heart... I am suppose to lead a trump against grand slams... :)

Ok, more serious. You want to impress Pam? Can partner have an ACE? Not likely, they used blackwood after all. Nor can partner have the trump king.

So next question, can partner ruff a spade? Do you really think they have a 9 card spade fit to AKQJ9 and never bid the suit? I guess one could have five and one four, but the bidding doesn't suggest that to me. However on this auction, I will guess a spade will be very popular lead.

I also guess that 6 showed a void in clubs and some number of key cards. So I am betting partner is doubling on a hoped for trump trick (given I have a void). But it is possible that trump might be "finessable". So I am going to lead a club to hopefully force dummy to ruff. When dummy ruffs, I hope partner will have enough trumps to stand up against one or two finesses. Give partner something like Jxxxx of hearts and club ACE, and dummy Qxx with a club void.

The "expected" lead of a club is probalby not the answer most would use after the double. Wouldn't partner just pass and expect a club lead? There is sound logic in that. But after the club splinter. partner might think a club is no longer the expected lead. If I missed the "obvious" spade ruff, I will have a lot of explaining to do.

I'm trying to figure out what the heck the double of 4NT meant. You need some more bidding space, let me help? Let me warn you away from 7?

Could they have a 9 card fit in spades? Sure, why not?

Do you see any reason to bid spades after your partner said 4 hearts? I don't.

Partner with AKQ long in clubs didn't think they could make 4NT... :)

I actually thought the hand whown was opener's hand with a ratty 6 card preempt. And the 3C opener was on lead. Now, however, it is partner who opened in a club preempt and I am looking at six of them, I change my mind entirely and join the multitude of spade leaders. Why? Because I don't expect partner to have five or even four hearts. So only shot is a spade ruff now.

I would lead a diamond against this. Note that there is no good way for RHO to have shown hearts and diamonds over 3, whereas with the majors he could have doubled or bid 4.

4 for many/most people is diamonds and a major. It's just a matter of whether they play it's a forcing bid or can be passed.

Spade seems obvious to me. I suspect a diamond was right since the problem is here, but who knows.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Agree that the spade is obvious.

Maybe partner has 9xxxx and a club produces 800 while others make,

Since some play 4 NF and some people bid 4 on HHxxxx(x) Hxxxx in the reds he's still way more likely to have diamonds than spades.

It have to be a new kind of double-Lightner or penalty don't fit.I call it BORAT double, weach meens :
1/ Don't lead trump ( if U have it)
2/ Don't lead in my suit (if U have more than 6 cards)
3) Close your eyes and pick some card from the other 2 suits (but this dos'n mean at there is a killling lead)
After a lead Pamela have to finesse immediately, after a lead-she played A and she had 2 entrys in dummy to make her contract.
