What do you think would be today's news reporting if these stories had occured now instead of then:

1) Daniel Ellsberg's whisteblowing on The Gulf of Tonkin incident
2) Watergate
3) Maj. Hal Knight's revelations to Congress of illegal Cambodian bombings.

What would Congress do about the same items?

If Edward R. Murrow were alive today, what do you think his reporting would be about:

1) Pre-invasion Iraq intelligence
2) Presidential approval of illegal wiretaps and approval of torture?
3) The state of the Justice Department under Alberto Gonzales?

What has Congress done?
