Playing in an individual in which my opponent doubled to making contracts (whoops I mean my partner) ...

But that is not the problem ...

(1C) P (1H) 1NT ...

1NT was 4324 13 count?

Who teaches people to bid like that?

The player said I would have doubled if I had real strength. So I am not even sure if this was maximum or minimum for 1NT.

to go with the two doubled making contracts and nothing much good I dont think I will get a good score :-))

That's a new one for me -

Had a hand about 8 months ago, I opened 1S, LHO o/c'ed 2NT, pass, pass, double by me all pass -- they went for 500.

At the end of that hand, learned that the 2NT was a real NT opener, 19-21 hcp. Needless to say, my RHO wasn't happy. :)

I also ran into a pair which played something weird: 2C overcall over a 1X-opening is FG, strong, like we didn't open... ;)
