1-(3)-?

If you double, what's your call over partner's 3 rebid?

Hi,

If I double, how will I feel, if
partner passes? Not really great.

Having discarded X, I have to think,
if I pass or not, probably I will bid
on, ... 4C.

Intending to pass a heart cue bid.

With kind regards
Marlowe

*sigh* 3. I'm sure this will draw criticism. 4 over pard's 3 and 4 if pard bids 4 over that....

Scoring: MP

1-(3)-X-(P);
3-AP. Presumably, if I had bid 4, partner would have bid 4 and we would have played there.

But why do you want to play in 4 facing
AKxxxx, Ax, xx,Axx?

Looks silly to play in the cuebid trying to make 10 tricks while slam is on in two other suits.
Kind Regards

Roland

I wouldn't have taken 4 as a cuebid. Maybe it should be.

That's quite a nice hand for a NF 3.
