Asking to join a table thats locked

I see a lot of "player needed at xxxx table". Then when you go its locked. You click on the empty seat and the deny you. I know its because they are experts and dont want lesser there. But couldnt they at least say that when the advertise for players??? Just bitching...thanks.....
