Hi,
The FD card can be set to auto-display to you, your opponents, your partner. It would be nice to be able to somehow get the bid to be highlighted in the auction area as if you had clicked alert in the bid box. Sometimes I forget to click alert because I am relaxed from any obligations because of FD, and I have had many director calls because polish club was not alerted but they were using FD so it showed in the top left. Players sometimes just don't notice that part, but I think the alert in the auction box is unavoidable.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan

Here's a suggestion that I made a couple days ago.

Obviously, this would require a bit more work, however, I think it provides a more comprehensive solution.

FD loaded - all bids are alerted and explained.

The only problem you have is that opps. still play gigolo-bridge. MUST be stopped.

For ignorant people like me for instance, pray tell what gigolo-bridge is.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice

Im guessing that it is the problem where FD also sends the alert&information to your partner, not just your opps.
