The titles of the money bridge tourneys have been tweaked to make them more readable in the smaller view.

That can be managed by profile and where if possible?

On a dish network ad in the bottom right when at a table, if I scroll the chat area it turns a big part of the ad grey, until the ad refreshes.
Thanks,

On a femara ad in the bottom right, toggling big/small deal does odd things to that area.
Thanks,

In a tourney (at least the one I am directing now), in the registration area, if I highlight a pair, the bottom profile shows in full but the top one is truncated so that the free-form text area (systems played, declarations of self-righteousness) is not showing.
Thanks,
Dan

if you need money, take it from the players. That AD-window is terrible and it destroys concentration and the game.
I build up a little tower with books and a CD, so I dont have to see it now.
The first "improvement" that is really nonsense.

You can use Control-F to change the size of the font that is used for chat. The smaller font size will result in a lot more chat being displayed. You can also use the "small chat font" in the Chat tab of the Options dialog to change this.
Unless you have more than 1024x768 screen resolution (in which case you should try maximizing your BBO window) the only way to get more space on the bridge table so that the cards are more spread out is to set "big cards" to off. This option is available through the At a table tab of the options dialog.

I did a screencapture, saved as jpg, but cannot work out how to post in forum. Other forums have a "file upload manager" link when posting to forums, but I cannot see it here.
Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mstr-mnding) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.
"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,

Looks like it needs to be positively enabled by admin:

I am sure I have seen images embedded in other posts.

Error Report:
When scrolling to the registered pairs of a tourney the upper players profile is partially covered by the lower one.
The upper profile does not start on top more like next to the 4the registered pair.
I have not seen this before today. I'm using the updated 4.9.1 Version.
I see this extra space at the partnership desk too now.

I understand the desire for revenue generation.
Just curious, Are ads also placed in the lobby? Will switching to classic view eliminate the ads from a table? Do the users have the option of turning them off? (I doubt it, but one can hope.)
So many experts, not enough X cards.

I completely understand BBO's desire to generate some revenue from their very fine product. I don't think anyone would have an issue with this. I also appreciate the fact that the revenue model doesn't require subscription costs on the part of the membership. However, ads may be problematic...
Bridge is a game of concentration. Players are going to deliberately attempt to tune out extraneous information.
The ads that you are selling don't do any good unless people pay attention to them. Accordingly, the ads are going to be deliberately engineered to be obstrusive. They're gonna flash and twinkle and do whatever they can to draw peoples attention to some obscure corner of the screen.
Not a marriage made in heaven...
I'd like to suggest one potential compromise: Would it be possible to time slice the advertising? Every 10th board, some advertiser would get all of the real estate of the screen for a short commercial of some kind. The rest of the time, things stay blank.
Personally, I'd prefer these types of commericals to a constant (distracting) banner ad.

If that message is addressed at me, I am not sure how you can be sure that the error that I am reporting is the same as that reported by DJNeill, since (until now) I have been unable to describe my particular error.
Anyway, I have worked out how to post it, by piggy backing on another message board and linking to it from here:
