I wonder if someone with BridgeBrowser could try out a simulation along the same lines as the recent investigation into opening 1N with a 5 card major, in order to explore another perpetual argument: The relative merits of opening 1NT with two doubletons?
The main possibilities that interest me are 6322 shape with a 6 card minor, and 5422 shape with a 5 card minor. Of the 5422 shapes I would want to subdivide the results between those which include the possibility of holding 4 Spades and those which exclude that possibility.
