Unusual auction what does this mean?

Following might be interesting: you play a light opening system with very agressive preempts (5+ card suits with 0-7hcp) in this vulnerability, and can show any 2-suited hand (with decent suits, at least 4-4) without ♣. Weak 3-suited hands are passed, any 2-suiter with ♣ can't be shown immediatly except with 55+ in the minors.
You're NV vs V, partner is dealer, scoring is imp (short team match). The bidding goes:
Partner RHO me LHO
pass - 1♥ - pass - 2NT
4♥ - Dbl - ...
1♥ is 5+ card, 2NT shows GF with ♥ fit.

I'd guess that partner has a 5440 with short Hearts...

Great problem, why in the world is partner telling the opp that hearts are breaking bad and he has a weak hand? hmmmm. I assume he is not trying to draw a roadmap against expert opponents?
Since you could not overcall 1s or anything for that matter at fav vul. with a passed partner how many spades or minor cards can you have?
Is partner really going to bid 4H with 0-10 hcp and 5=0=4=4 shape on this auction?

I agree with Mike, there is something strange. Even a 2-suiter (spade/minor) is a bit too dangerous (=too revealing) in this situation. Oppos have already exchanged their most important messages: fit in hearts, GF situation. I find it difficult to imagine a hand that I'd have passed originally, but that allows me to come back at 4-level (after my pard has passed!!)

either you open this hand in 1st seat, or you pass after the posted sequence. Giving a detailed map of your hand to oppos which are likely to play the hand is never a good idea.

This would be a very easy 3♠ opening... (read first post: VERY agressive preempts in this vulnerability)

He could not show 55 in the Club and Spade first round? So this is, what he must have...He had open any other two-suiter. And to bid with 5044 4 Heart seems to be no good idea. If you are strong enough to compete on this level without a known fit or length from pd, you had been strong enough to open.
Kind Regards
