The first reason why 6H makes and 6S doesn't is, because with these hands you can discard 2 spade losers on your clubs. The exact oposite reason why we all want to go on in spades: discard club losers on your heart length. That's all.

Reason 2: you play a natural system. I bet that artificial systems find this slam, and will know it has to be in hearts, not spades... Again an advantage for the artificials.
