After the tournament

Not much to be done at this point. I usually thank the customers, then remind them that

  1. The leader board contains the list of players and rankings
  2. The MOVIE button offers their individual results and scores
  3. www.bridgebase.com/myhands allows them to look at the traveller for each board

The leader board will be visible for about an hour, and will then go away.   The leaderboards for older results are also available via a link on the myhands welcome page.

Sometimes, you will notice that a pair with a lower score (and higher percentage) beats out a pair with a higher score (and lower percentage). This is normal.  Why does this happen? For whatever reason (usually because a substitute is involved, or an adjustment) pairs sometimes play a different number of boards, or have a different number of Matchpoints available to them.  The winners are the pair which has the highest percentage score (not the highest raw score).
