Bottom Line: I will wait for 9+ inch screen size.
My impressions are based on playing a half dozen hands on a demo machine.
Good News: It works. If you intend to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab for another reason (i.e., small form factor [7" screen]; light weight [12 oz]; droid OS) you will be pleased to know that you can play BBO on this device. The Flash works as it should. There were no hiccups loading up BBO. All the functionality is there.
The Problem: I think the screen size is too small to permit extended play. When playing (or defending) you must select a card by touching the screen. In order to do this with accuracy, you must resize the display (zoom in). I did this, and experienced no errors. However, at this size, the other hands are barely visible. And, of course, chat and other supplemental items you are used to are not visible either. When you return to bidding, you need to resize the display again (zoom out). Now you can see all the bidding, although your own hand is a bit distorted. You might worry that selecting a bid would be impossible, and it is admittedly not as easy as on a PC. But again, I managed with no errors. Since I average more than an hour a day on BBO, this continual resizing is enough of an inconvenience to make the Samsung Galaxy an inappropriate platform for me. I believe I will find the increase in weight and size of a 9+" screen to be an acceptable burden to tolerate in exchange for a more convenient playing platform.

Great review, Tony!! I have actually seen a Galaxy Tab, although Flash had not yet been added so didn't get to see the actual BBO format. Everything you say though makes sense! I, too feel the screen is too small for comfortable play. I'm looking for something a bit more ergonomically friendly. Thanks for all the realistic comments.

anyone tried on 10.1?

Yea I tried yesterday after I got mine and it seems to work fine as long as you're not playing for serious money. I played a few hands and managed to avoid misclicks altogether, but it was not easy. The only annoying part is chatting because of the huge on-screen keyboard that takes up half the screen (resizing the bridge table) and then you have to wait for a while until it renders the cards anew. The software ran without any problems as far as I could say (which is to be expected seeing as it did the same on the older version too).
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
